URIHO – Croatia

URIHO is a sheltered workshop from Zagreb, Croatia  which employs over 500 persons with disabilities. 

Apart from specially designed workplaces to meet the needs of persons with disabilities, URIHO offers a wide range of adult education programs aimed at developing or expanding working capacities of persons with disabilities. Rich selection of URIHOs products (from textile to  lather and ceramics products) shows  that URIHO successfully utilises the abilities and competences   of PWDs for more than 75 years now.

What can we offer? 

  • Extensive Learning Centre – provides courses in addition to or in place of regular education and lifelong learning courses; all courses are held in MU learning spaces designed for students with disabilities; lifelong learning students use the same technological equipment and study materials as regular university students.

Orient Express – Austria

“Orient Express. Beratungs-, Bildungs- und Kulturinitiative für Frauen” is a non-profit, politically and denominationally independent association based in Vienna (Austria) that operates a women’s counselling centre, two shelters for girls and young women, a nationwide coordination centre against abduction and forced marriage and a learning centre. 

Non-formal education has been an important pillar of the organisation’s activities for more than 30 years. Since 2014, Orient Express offers basic education courses for women with a focus on literacy, numeracy, digital skills and German as a second language. Creativity, motivation and joy are important pillars of our day-to-day work.

Our aim is to create a space in which learning can take place without discrimination and where each participant experiences attention, recognition and encouragement. Together with the participants, we develop tools for autonomy and social participation. Our aim consists in fostering equal opportunities throughout counselling and non-formal education. A central aspect in this regard is the expansion of the participants’ individual scope of action, in order to promote participation and social inclusion.

topcoach – Slovakia

Topcoach is a SME in the field of adult education. We focus on trainings, workshops and keynotes for individuals (B2C segment) as well as companies (B2B segment). 

We have rich experiences in the design of trainings and workshops, to educate adults and youth, as well as executing them. We have also created our own product – academy for future leaders – NewLeaders Academy and a keynote concept that introduces soft-skills topics – leTalks. We participated in a collaboration with a university to execute our leadership project for MBA students. And our latest collaboration also includes a partnership with the Tomas Bata Foundation from Czech Republic to introduce the Bata philosophy and seminars to the Slovak audience.

Center Spirala – Slovenia

Center Spirala- Center of Selfmobility is a non-profit Institute for research and development in the social and humanistic area. It was founded in 2001 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Institute investigates the development in the light of relation between humanistic and data society. In this respect, it develops thinking models, with which discovers links between development and identity issues.

Institute offers services of supervision, evaluation, and occasional education inside the field of social care, health and adult education. 

Institute has years of experience with cooperating in national and EU projects, under PHARE, LDV, and Erasmus+ EU programs.
